The school is serviced by itinerant instrumental music teachers who offer strings and woodwind/brass/percussion tuition.
Students entering Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 are eligible to join the strings group, playing violin, cello or double bass whilst students entering Years 5 and re invited to join the concert band which features a wide range of instruments from brass to woodwind to percussion.
Students in the music program are given individual free weekly music lessons by qualified instrumental specialist teachers. They are expected to come to school early one morning per week to practise as a strings ensemble or as a concert band.
